Happy Friday ATX! 🤠 Edition #58
Check out our list of the best things to do in Austin this weekend! 🪩🕺🏻🎭

Happy Friday ATX! 🤠 It’s National Comfy Day - get cozy, bundle up, and stay warm during this chilly weather! 🔥🥶
Fridays here feel like the city’s daring us to slow down, but we’ve got that restless ATX blood, don’t we?
What if the real magic isn’t in the hustle, but in the split second you catch the skyline and think, ‘Damn, I’m lucky’?
And with that here is this weeks meme! Sourced from Austin’s own subreddit…

hehehe ❄️
Weekend Forecast: Cold and potentially rainy is the vibe this weekend. Stay cozy, but still get out of the house and enjoy the city because we have an epic event list this weekend as we start gearing up for SXSW! 😎 90s parties, live music, sound sanctuaries, and you guessed it, more coffee clubs (lol)! This weekend will only be as good as you make it! ☕🎶🕺🏻

Best thing we ate this week… This one is an Austin classic. Since 1980, Kerbey Lane has been slanging delicious diner food and breakfast all cooked from scratch, and they don’t show signs of slowing down anytime soon. As many of our favorite places have faded over the years, Kerbey continues reinventing itself.
They have a wide range of offerings, including breakfast all day long (even open 24 hours on the weekends at some locations). Some of their newest dishes are a pretzel plate served with a few dips including their famous Kerbey Queso, and the steak frites with parmesan truffle fries I tried the other night! It was surprisingly great for a $20 steak frites and was served with this incredible roasted garlic truffle aioli. Kiana had one of the breakfast platters with gluten-free chocolate chip pancakes, a side of bacon and sausage, and a hot chocolate because it was ~25 degrees outside when we went. 🥶
If you haven’t tried Kerbey Lane before, it’s tried and true, and its a long-time Austin favorite. Go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or even on your way home from the bars on a long weekend night to satisfy those post-party cravings.

Most fun we had this week… The Aussies brought a new mini golf place to Austin in March of last year and we finally went and checked it out. No seriously, the first Holey Moley location was in Queensland, Australia back in 2016 and since then they have taken the world by storm and I can see why.
We played 18 holes of mini golf and were genuinely impressed by how well they curated the vibes. They offer food, drinks, arcade games, and interactive short-course mini golf with 3 different 9-hole courses. We had the most fun playing mini golf, laughing, enjoying some pina coladas, and the vibrant and stimulating space.
If you’re looking for a fun place to take a date, celebrate a birthday, bring out-of-town friends, or just pregame a fun night out in downtown Austin with an activity, I highly recommend taking a swing at Holey Moley.

New Business that we want to try… From March 7–April 6, Pop Up Grocer is taking over 513 E. 6th St., bringing a curated selection of hard-to-find snacks, drinks, and home goods. The traveling grocery store specializes in indie brands you won’t spot at H-E-B, with 400+ products spanning food, body care, and more. If this pop-up pops off, they might just make Austin their first Texas home. 🛒
