I hope you’ve all had a fantastic week! I just want to open up this weeks newsletter with the link to the Kerr County Relief fund.
“The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country—a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Kerrville—will directly distribute funds to vetted local organizations providing rescue, relief, recovery services and flood assistance. The Fund will support impacted communities including Boerne, Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point and Comfort.”

Weekend Forecast: Some of our favorites this weekend include Wellness Wonderland at Rivian, Dive In Movie Night Swim at Cabana Club, and the For the Heart of Texas benefits show at the Long Center Sunday! It has a lineup of some of Austin’s hottest artists all coming together to raise money for flood relief. It should be a fun weekend with plenty of opportunities to make a positive impact for our neighbors! 🎸🎶🎞️
Best thing we ate this week… We tried out Wonky Blends! They have two locations, one at the Thicket in South Austin and the other just opened up over on Webberville Road! We had the Water Dragon Slush, a watermelon, dragon fruit, lime, and coconut water slushie. It was a perfect way to cool down during a hot summer day.

Most fun we had this week… We went to see the new Jurassic World Rebirth film at Moviehouse and Eatery in Southwest Austin, it’s a “luxury moviehouse and eatery” similar to an Alamo Drafthouse. The seats are super comfy, there’s a button you press when you need your server, and the food was really good. We had a GF Burrata margherita pizza, an order of 8 spicy ranch wings, and a side of truffle fries that were the bomb. The movie was alright, the story line was all sort of crammed into the beginning and then after that it was just a lot of running and hiding from Dinosaurs, and the occasional person getting absolutely munched. Overall the place and food were really good, next time I want to see the new Formula 1 movie though!
