Best thing we ate this week… Mercado Sin Nombre
We’ve been meaning to check out this coffee and breakfast spot on the east side since before they opened up and finally made it over there. It’s a super cute spot sort of situated in an alleyway, you walk up and order at the window and there’s a decent amount of seating scattered around. I had a Latte and Aaron had a Nitro Cold Brew. They roast their coffee in house. I had an off-menu pancake sandwich with house made chicken chorizo, cheese, and a fried egg that was the perfect size and full of great flavor. Aaron had the breakfast burrito with chiles and chickpeas and an added egg and it was sooo delicious. Their salsas were also very rich in flavor, one was a spicy bright orange habanero, and the other a dark roasty molcajete. The entire seating and ordering area is outside, but they have shaded seating if you want to stay cool, or sunny spots for you to bask in the rays. This was our first time at Mercado sin Nombre and I can say with confidence that it will not be the last.
